Get this, it's so worth it.

Check out "Clean Up Woman". Jaco used to play that main guitar lick as the bass line to this tune. Now there's some fun for you.

I bought that cd a few years back 'cause it was the only available thing with "Scorpio".

I've seen used vinyl copies of Dennis Coffey's Evolution(album which spawned "Scorpio") at www.dustygroove.com going for $25+.
I figured as soon as I bought it, the cd would come out for 8.99.

If you are looking for Scorpio under Bob Babbitt's name, you won't find it. The record was by Denis Coffey.

It is funny that is is a guitarist's record and it features an extended bass solo instead of guitar. The Earth stood still that day.

I think I recall seeing Dennis Coffey & The Detroit Guitar Band doin' "Scorpio" on American Bandstand.
Those were the days.

You can also listen to a long sample of "Scorpio" on Bob Babbitt's own website.

http://www.bobbabbitt.com/index2.htm

Click on "Jukebox", and you'll find it as track #1.

Another nod for the Soul Hits Of The 70's, in fact buy the whole series, you won't regret it. Almost every song is a gem of bubbling bassplaying goodness!
Scorpio is also available on the deluxe two disc set of the soundtrack for 'Standing In The Shadows'....also very worth having.

Told you guys.
Couple years back, I finally sprung for a USED copy of Evolution...couple weeks later, a compilation disc of Dennis Coffey's 'greatest' comes out.

"Scorpio" is alos available on the Deluxe 2-disc Edition of Standing In The Shadows of Motown.

Also, Dennis Coffey's follow-up to Evolution, Goin' For Myself(w/ "Taurus") is available at iTunes.
