Hamilton Bohannon - Truck Stop - YouTube

Anybody else a fan of Hamilton Bohannon? He is a great band leader who MD for Stevie Wonder but then went on to be the first to use the disco beat (after he broke his foot). He tended to use a lot of great two guitar arrangements and Fernaundo Saunders was his bassist for most of his really great stuff.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXlO9...eature=related

Big fan. Disco-funk was such a great genre, he was a big part of it. That bass player has some great technique, i would love to know what hes doing (or using) on lets start to dance.

Still to this day in the philly area hes in heavy rotation. Round here we still have a few dj's spinning his stuff every weekend. This version with dr perry johnson is the most popular:
