It looks like this hasn't gotten much attention here but everyone needs to check out Secret Cheifs 3's "Book of Horizons". Probably my current favorite album of all time. It came out a year ago and has knocked everything back a step on my shelf (seriously). Everytime I listen I hear something new. Great production, epic songs, lots of different styles, middle eastern modes and rhythms, great melodies, odd instrumentation (saz, rebab, musical saw, esraj, violin, bass, microtonal guitar, organ, harp, synths, shamisen, etc etc. )
