Typical populist crap set to mediocre country music, imo. All uppity against big business and low wages but mention the S word and they'll think you're the devil incarnate.

So...what exactly is the message here?

"My Bible and the Bill of Rights" huh. What about the guy from the Islamic Center and the Jewish woman?

This is a confused mass of nationalism and whining.

I like how they whine about jobs going overseas and blame Washington for it, but like Mortiis said, mention regulation or somehow impeding free trade and they'll break out that "Socialism!!!" cudgel faster than you can say American Entitlement Complex.

This reminded me of how The Byrds went country and now I feel nonplussed.

Yep! I thought the same thing. I was wondering what all the mixed messages were. Part of the song was a protest song and part of the song was a patriotic proud to be an American song.

How is it that people convince themselves that the Washington DC "shipped" jobs overseas?

The FedEx tracking label was signed "Washington DC"?

It lacks focus as a song. It's not catchy. You can't dance to it. The message is stupid. I could go on but I'd rather stop wasting time even thinking about this song.
