The ongoing Complete Motown Singles series is an amazing history of Jamerson. They've currently released 21 CD's in 4 box sets, covering 1959-1964. I think they plan 12 boxes in total (up to 1972).

If I still bought music in a physical format, I would probably get the Ramones set, and maybe the Slayer set.

I noticed a few Motown box set listings, a couple in that vain that I really dig are the Stax Boxes vols 1 & 2, like the Motown box, they are virtual bibles of R&B grooves. Highly recommended!

I've got:

- The Police, "Message in a Box"
- George Winston, "Seasons" (and surprised I'm not the first to post this one)
- The Miles and Coltrane Columbia Years Box

I've got my eyes on the Stevie Wonder "At the Close of the Century" set.
