Brian Melvin Standards Zone

Just interested in what everyone thinks of The Brian Melvin Trios album Standards Zone with Jaco on bass. I love it. Most of the tracks are my favourite things Jaco has played on, along with Word of Mouth stuff. Any views? It's so good to hear him walking etc. Also pretty phenomenal considering the time it was recorded and the way his playing had suffered at this time. '86 I believe. What do you lot think of this album?

It's my favorite of all the post-prime Jaco recordings. I think he was in a pretty lucid period when it was recorded.

I like that CD as well as "Curtain Call" a live recording with the same band.
