brick in the wall pt2 solo part

Please confirm or set me straight on this

during the solo for another brick in the wall pt 2
the rhythm guitar has the change Dm Gm Dm Gm

But it sounds to my tone def ears like the bass stays on D the whole time

is this correct?
it's just the rhythm guitar and keys that change not the bass?
