Burnt Infant: For A Girl

I've made a new Burnt Infant noisescape, entitled "For A Girl". This is an improvisation based off a song I wrote for someone I loved.

There's probably wrong notes and production problems galore. I don't care. I only played it once, and will probably never play it again.

For A Girl

For the record, I only used reverb, delay, pitch-shifting, and ring-mod for this.

Very cool--I like it a lot because it's along the lines of what I am doing

Keep up the cool music Ben!

I think Burnt Infant is my favorite project of yours. The early stuff was pretty good, now you're getting really really good at it.

I don't know what I think of the ring mod: But I think that makes me like it. The fact that it's For a Girl (from what your blog suggests, a former love, sorry to hear that). But it's really pretty and the ring mod kind of has the "love gone sour" vibe.

It's a great tune, I hope you put out a CD of this stuff some day: I won't be able to afford it, but... still.

Amazing.

Serene with dark undertones, which is really up my alley.

I dig it a lot.
