Well, the recording is pretty muddy, so it's not exactly easy to give you any constructive criticism.

Initially, it had a catchy feel to it, but got monotonous very quickly. I really can't say anything about the bass playing, because I can't quite decipher what your doing.

Overall, I wouldn't say it's bad, but with the recording what it is, I can't say it's good either.

The recording on the first one is pretty bad the bassline isn't that distinguishable but listen to the next three hit the fastforward button on the player..... I guess I shouldn't have put the one I did first, but it does sound more like the stereotypical meatalish song so it was first... kind of an attention getter..... that logic may have been wrong but you got to get their attention before you can get them to listen.

I reordered the songs so the first one is pretty distinguishable the second not so much and the third and fourth you can deffinently pick out the bassline... as always comments are welcome as well as criticism..... just looking for feedback from someone who knows what bass is supposed to sound like

Okay,

The first track had a cool groove, but the line didn't sound fluid enough to me. Just a tad choppy, but I hear good ideas.

Second track, due to the recording, the bass sounded like mush and was kinda indisguishable, so I cant really comment on that one.

I like the dark driving thing you were doing on track 3, and your band sounds good, although very rough. With a little tightening, you guys could definitely rock it.

I really like your tone on the fourth jam and the groove was on point. Again you guys are really rough sounding, but if you smooth out some of those jagged edges (not to make you soft or anything, but to add some fluidity to it) you'll be rockin' like hell.

Overall, like your friends would say.... Sounds cool man.

Awesome groove on song 2.But it definitely could use some changes.Like a chorus and a bridge. As for the playing, just loosen up a bit,be more fluid w/you're playing. When you play metal, you can actually swing with it,just like jazz.It a comes w/time and experience.Take care.
