In Camera mp3s / bass tone

I used a sansamp DI plugged right into the mixer to make this cd. I had to back off the level of tube gain I usually play on (killed all the clarity) I play on a MIA Fender Jazz Delux with the mid boost up 25% and both pickups on at full.
anyway tell me what ya think of the bass tone and why you're at it the songs in general.
this indie/rock with balls (best way I can describe it this early in the morning)

dude im a huge fan of your stuff now, loved it. Your singer ha s areal professional indie voice. Your bass sounded pretty good int he mix aswell. Well doen dude.
