It's easy to listen to, it was actually pretty nice to hear while I was typing up my paper. That being said though, for some dedicated listening I think it would need a bit more to it, maybe an extra melody, or a few extra chords/notes. Good work though, I did like it.

just bass and drum, maybe I'll try to add a synth... |

| | | | Not quite my cup of tea ,, but,,, i thought it was cool,, kinda hypnotic,, definately got down the minimalost vibe,, but ya should have something melodic around it ,, vocal ,, synth,, guitar,, hit a gong a couple a times in odd places,, but it didnt make me wanna puke,, cant say that to all stuff ive heard,, work on it a bit more. |

Drums are a bit too low in the mix for my taste and also severely lacking in dynamics. The cymbals are especially lifeless - heavily compressed and lacking in high frequency content
No comment on the music itself
Bottom Line: Read This then go back and remix if possible. If the individual tracks are already compressed that much, then start over from scratch. Remember: dynamics are your friend

I like the vintage/compressed sound... maybe I tried too hard! |

Remember: dynamics are your friend | I don't know poop about recording music in a technical sense, but if I did, I'd probably say something similar to this. :-)
This is kinda what I thought, just NEVER could have put it into words.
It does have a bit of a hypnotic type vibe going for it.
End result;; I like it, but it could be better mixed and sound pretty bad acc.
I wanted to FEEL the drums and they just kinda blend in a bit too much. |

My inexperience thinks; why couldn't you just record it again with the drums levels a bit higher while keeping the rest a level or two lower than before.
Wouldn't that give the drums a bit more umph?
As is obvious, I haven't got a clue wth I'm talking about.
