Can somebody recommend a couple of records

Can somebody recommend a couple of records I could listen to in order to get some ideas on bass technique..

I primarily listen to jazz, so I'm not sure what to give a listen to learn more funk, slap & pop styles (besides the red hot chili peppers).

If you have any love for funk with some disco in it, you gotta check out "A Little Love Will Help" by the East Bay Rhythm Section. The slap and finger-funk technique on display in that record is just mind-blowing in both talent and taste.

What I learned a ton from was Marcus Miller / Miles Davis. Check out Amandla or Tutu - darn never every tune has great bass playing that is more in the pocket than it is wild, so it's fully learnable... I was copping Marcus when everyone else started copping Flea (so, clone that I am, I started copping him too!)
