i've set all the settings on the amp flat, and on the first play through, all of the settings on the bass are flat aswell, and there isnt any clicking, but on the 2nd play through, i've turned the treble up half, and thats when i hear the clicking, and its just when i slap, its a ruff recording, but is this something a ray should be sounding like when being slapped with half treble up? the clicking, i'm also gunna save for a new practice amp, and put a new battery in, and mabe get a new lead, see if it makes a differance. i'd apprisiate any input

Geez, man. How old are those strings?

Put some fresh ones on and see how it sounds then.

BTW, if I boost treble and get more noise/clicks than tone, I know my strings are dead.

If the same thing happens when I boost mids, I know the strings are REALLY dead.
