It'd be cool to know about your experiences with folks you've recorded with and if you'd like, share the hourly and/or final cost? Maybe a snippet from the recordings? The "good amp techs" thread over in Amps/Cabs got me thinking this might be a cool idea.
We recorded our demo at
Module Overlaod and you can hear the tracks in my links below. Final cost for a day's work was $250. Not bad at all. Mastering was another $50 but I'm not sure where that was done. :/
