Now that's pretty danged funny. You've got the vocals covered up a little, though.

I tried raising them up as much as possible - but there's a pretty bad hum in the original file, so I could only do so much.

Easily the best thing I've ever heard, are you sure Complete didn't originally write this?

Seriously, hilarious and awesome at the same time.

It's true... I stole this from Complete.

I did, however, take some liberties with tempo, meter, note selection, tone, feel, style, technique, theory, substance, and musicality.

Major Metal has a wolf too?

Canis Lupis is wolf, Canis Domesticus is dog - just curious myself as I have a wolf.

Ah, it was just some random taxonomy term I pulled from Wikipedia. Consider it artistic liscense.

By the way, I made all this in less than an hour on headphones. I just heard it for the first time on some decent speakers and SHEESH!! What a terrible mix. Sorry about that everybody.

Seriously. Better than 90% of the painful dreck that the younguns call metal these days. Mix and sound quality are better too.

We made a recording of a band practice (really makes your mistakes stand out if you can listen to it later) and there's a song where the guitar plays clean 7th chords for a bit... the guitarist's dogs always sing to it, going so far as to come running from upstairs when the song starts. It used to be an instrumental, but now the song's got vocals. More of the old fashioned higher pitched metal vocals though.

Eek.. seriously, it's just a joke. I'm somewhat embarrassed that people think it's actually good...

And it's also a little odd that I'm getting more responses to this than my "real" music... *sniffle*

I tried to figure out why there would be a hum in the file ... I recorded using battery power in both the MD recorder and the mic. Then I figured it out. When I transferred the file from the MD player to the computer, I used battery power again in the MD, but the computer is plugged in. I therefore had an ungrounded input to the computer, and the hum was added at that stage.

Canis familiaris is dog.

Maybe you were thinking of the common housefly, or Musca domestica

Funny stuff.
