| Can't Figure Out The Name/Artist of Song I Hear

I don't have an iTouch which can tell you the song just by that special app. All I know is that it sounds like a mid-tempo disco song very similar to what Jamiroquai would do... ...but with a female singer. It has the Stuart Zender-like disco octave bass and all.
Driving me crazy. I'm never in a place where I can get a song name, nor is one announced. It's a on a "corporate music radio loop" so no song info is available, or accessible to me. Tried googling "Bands that sound like Jamiroquai" and I never get anything promising. Also tried Pandora, and left it playing to see if that song would come up when I tried looking for songs that fit with Jamiroquai or "Jamiroquai Radio". No dice.
I want to say that the song is in E or E-flat. I don't have any key phrases or vocal taglines I can remember. I do know it is a pretty new-sounding song, but it has been out since at least March, and maybe earlier. The vocal is sung in a jazzy, breezy style, and is not a diva-like powerhouse performance in the vein of Christina Aquilera.
Talk Bass to the rescue???
Ps-
It took me 20-plus years to finally discover "song with the saxophone line and the slide-y guitar motif which I'd heard once in a while on radio since the late-70s was, in fact, "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty. This, in the days before ipod, internet, and so on...
