I'm digging this new discovery of a band,
Cantata Sangui, which is a gothic metal band with two bassists very forward in the mix, in lieu of any guitars. The two basses sound extremely natural in their music to me, and I appreciate a band like this which doesn't employ the guitarless setup as a "look at m33!1! gv1tars sCvk!!1" type gimmick, but instead uses it as an avenue to create their own sound. Anyways, just thought I'd pass this discovery along to anyone who hasn't heard of them.
