25+ years ago I lived in a big house with a bunch of crazy roommates, one of whom loved to put his 45rpm single of "Ain't Nobody" on at 33rpm. Chaka sounded exactly like James Ingrahm! But that groove was stone cold solid at any tempo. Killin' tune.

Hope you had fun. "Pull Up To The Bumper" = Robbie Shakespear. Definitely fun...

had a blast. because it was a corporate, our last set got cut short due to 'speeches' going long so we didn't play Pull up to my Bumper but we did a pretty fine job of Ain't Nobody for just drums/bass/guitar/...and a killer singer

Ahhh memories....
We do a medley that goes from Aint Nobody into Pull up to my Bumper then into Calibra (Incognito) and finally ends with Never too much (Luther Vandross) - Now thats a groove workout....

What a small world - I just played 'Ain't Nobody' this weekend - for the first time in years. What a great tune!
