Question

Though this isn't a bass-oriented album, I'd like to get opinions from anyone who's heard this album. I've listened to a few tracks from it now, but I can't decide whether I like it or not. The tracks seem to range from "tradtional" jazz to some really "out-there" electronica.

Opinions would be appreciated.

David

I haven't heard it; I have heard nothing but BAD stuff about it, though. I won't be picking it up.

A few years back, Watts also had some big band stuff on a couple of releases; again, they did nothing for me.

Charlie was one of my biggest influences on drums, I may go get it. His other solo projects haven't been that great though.

You can find clips from all the album tracks at cdnow.com

Probably the most "accessible" track is 'Airto'. (All the tracks are tributes to great jazz drummers.
