Are you talking about Chromatic Aberration by Native Construct, or a different song/group? I'm listening to it now, and it seems easily the wilder of the two tunes easily accessed from your link.

It's chromatic abberation. If you click the music tab on the left hand side it will play.

I've something the impression to listen to Messhugga and other to Liquid Tension.
The bass line is normal, no ? the only interesting part is the solo ( not loud enough ) otherwise it is tradtionnal bass.
