Check out my new music - maybe win a prize!
My band neighbordater, has just released our album.
We are definitely a rock band - but our songs have nice melodies and hooks.
You can check it out here - www.noisetrade.com/neighbordater/neighbordater
If you like it, download it for free! Feel free to share too
I would love to hear your comments.
And.... I know there is a ton of online music. As an added incentive for TB'ers, I will randomly pick a few people who download the album and send them a free gift (maybe strings, tuners, etc - no free cars here...). You enter your email when you download - I'll email some of them and ask if they came from TB and then I'll send you a prize! That's it. No spam or any ulterior motives.
We are just trying to spread the word. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for your support!

The singer sounds like the guy from ZZ Top. I feel like it should be more like ZZ Top music with your singer, so the songs are odd to me as this isn't really the kind of music ZZ Top would play. For me, it's kind of lost in the middle where it isn't mellow enough to chill out to, and not hard enough to rock out.
I am impressed though. The songs sound good, the name of the band is cool, the artwork and website is nice.

just curious, are all these recordings from one bass/amp or are you switching around? what did you use where, if you don't mind my asking?

These were done in a few different sessions. A couple different Fender P's. Most went direct from GK head - although I think on one of the sessions we also miced the cab. Totally DIY - protools.

All I can say is... Sweet! I'm glad I spotted this thread on the TB front page!
For a DIY recording, it sounds great, almost professional. In fact, I'm surprised you're not a professional! (unless you are.)
I'll gladly stick this on my phone and listen through the whole album tomorrow, and I'll come back if I've got any suggestions for your band :)

We will be posting up another ep soon too. We have written a ton - just now getting it all put together and organized. Record is up on iTunes, etc, but you can still get it here for free for a bit....
