Hey TalkBass,

I have wasted countless hours browsing these forums but hardly post.

I thought you all might like to hear the latest recording I've done with my band Revocation. I am very happy with everything about this demo, and love the bass tone I got. Just wondering what everyone thinks, as I will hopefully be making many more records in the future and could always use constructive feedback.

You can hear the whole demo at

http://www.myspace.com/revocation

In case you wonder, I am using a 5 string Warwick Fortress Masterman (only the bridge pickup - except for the clean section in Suffer these Wounds and some random slap parts), coming out of the back of my Ashdown ABM II 500 RC into a direct box. The bass had a a fresh set of DR Lo-RIders.

Oh, and just so you all know I play extreme metal. Complete with screaming, growling and all of that stuff. Just warning in case you really hate that stuff, don't bother listening.

Nice blending with the slapping. It'd be nice if you could send those mp3s to me, or upload them.

Very cool, sounds really tight.
Tell us when you're playing in NY. I see the venue is undecided?

Thanks to all who commented!

We will make one track downloadable soon. The whole demo will be available for purchase via the site soon, as well as a new t-shirt design to go along with it.

Unfortunately we are not playing NY that date, we are playing in Philly. The NY date didnt work out. We will be in NY hopefully soon, maybe beginning of January.
