Cheesy Song -- Great Bassline!!!

What songs are cheesy but have a great bassline?

Alex Al's bassline on Jimmy Sommers' song "This Weekend" on the Lovelife album is about the fattest tone I have ever heard, and is a GROOVE! The song is lame though. It's sex sax junk. But still check out the tune.

Wings' "Silly Love Songs". Though I personally think the song is brilliant, some would consider it "Cheezy" I'm sure. No bass player in their right mind would consider the bass line lame.

As much as I lovvvvvve Chic and The Brothers Johnson, a lot of there stuff falls into that category.

Anybody wanna discuss any particular Victor Wooten compositions?

Peace,

James
