Guns 'n' Roses are streaming Chinese Democracy (the entire album) on their MySpace now and... it sucks. Big suprise. Your guys' thoughts?

I actually like it, it is not the usual GNR - it shows that they progressed at least unlike Metallica who just rehash their stuff.

uh... progressed?

that's an impossibility, since the only person in the band now that's also on the record is Axl.

no progression, really, just member rotation.

It's only my opinion...but I honestly can't believe that anyone, anywhere, actually still cares.

All I've heard so far was the title track, but it sounded to me like every other '80s/early '90s hair/radio rock band attempting to regain their previous fame.

The only thing I am excited about is printing my coupon for a free Dr. Pepper tomorrow.

The album is atrocious.

AXL is still AXL, GNR is not still GNR.

I liked your comment about how everything sounds the same, though. AC/DC has made the same album 15 times over, so I'm not surprised. Everything they do sounds the same, they suck

I totally agree with that statement.

I read somewhere that everyone except Slash and Buckethead is allowed to get one.

I wonder if I register as Slash if it will deny me??????

I actually like it. Axl should have changed the band name though. To me they are no longer Guns N' Roses, still good music though.

This CD blows. It sounds like every instrument is trying to solo at the same time. axl isn't an acception.

That guitar tone sounds like Essence of Peavey Rage.

I can't get past that horrid distorted tone.

That seems to be about par for the course. Never could stomach GNR. Am not planning to start now...

Just picked it up today and only gotten a single listen through so far. It hasn't jumped out at me right away as a classic, but honestly I'm willing to give my favorite band a few rotations through, especially considering the amount of time and effort invested into it.

Overall it's mediocre as far as major label rock goes, but it just plain sucks in spots.
