you might check the DB section. I don't know how but strings and hands with running hot into the recording pre would be my guess

I always love to hear about other Chris Wood fans.

If you're talking about the opening track, he used an Electro-Harmonix Bass MicroSynth and a P-Bass. He talked about this in the June 2002 BP. Great disc BTW...
