Christian McBride - Live At Tonic!!!!

I'm posting this here because he plays a lot of fretless on the album, and I am a BG, not a DB guy.

I'm just going to say, I have seen the light, and the light is this new 3 CD live album from my favorite bass player.

Unreal. That's it.

You're right, the whole band is sick. The drum groove on "Say Something" is out of control.

Buy this album!

I agree. I've been listening to this for weeks (and I like his DB playing at least as much as his electric playing). The drummer Terreon Gully is phenomenal.

That is an incredible album! Christian McBride must be the greatest doubler in the world! Live At the Tonic has made McBride my favorite bassist, at least my favorite virtuoso. I love him on acoustic, fretless, and fretted basses.

I have yet to hear the CD- I'll probably get it later today- but I saw them live last summer here in St. Louis, and I have to say, they are just nasty!
