2 guys really. Damon Edge and Helios Creed formed CHROME in San Fransisco. A number of EP's and albums. Starting about 1976 or so. Very ahead of their time, very "basement" sounding. Some record titles include:

"Blood on the Moon"
"No Humans Allowed"
"Red Exposure"
No real bass playing to talk about either, just cool underground music and noise, before being "underground" was cool. Maybe there's an old timer here who can recall these guys. They have a website. Geez.
