For the record, im not playing bass on this one. Im actually the flugel and lead trumpet for this one. Rough night for the band, but i think my cadenza went fairly well.
You guys sound great. Seemed like in a few spots closer to the beginning there was some tempo disconnect between the rhythm section and the horns but other than that nice job. Great song and I think you guys did it justice.

Thanks Kwesi! I definetally agree on the tempo. I harp on the guys so much to pull stuff back. But I think I may just be too picky. Cause im starting to notice alot of stuff in there. Ha.

We also did a cover of King Crimsons 21st Century Schizoid Man. Its a little rough seeing as we worked it up in about a week, but still a good tune. I'll post it up here once it uploads.

And we ALWAYS throw some mingus in there! One year we got slotted at 5th by a judge in state. The others slotted us at 1st. But this guy said he didnt like our set. Not traditional enough.
