This one has been posted before, but I figured it would be good to bring it back for newer TB'ers. A great bassist and a Peavey T-40 is a powerful combination!

i love the way hub grooves and the interesting lines he comes up with. some of the roots stuff is very inventive and he has a really unique approach to the instrument. great player

It's good to see Hub and the T-40 getting some love. What's Hubbard doing these days?

I always loved the pocket ?uestlove and Hub put together. I saw them live several times and the ebb and flow they worked was always phenomenal. Thanks for posting the video.

Very cool, Doc. I saw them for the first time in '05--one of the best live bands I've ever heard, and that's saying a lot. Hub was so tight in the pocket that when he took a solo at one point, my eyes just about popped out of my head.

Killer sound outta that T-40. Hub's the man, his grooves are so organic but tight at the same time.
