Here are two tunes I recorded last weekend with a school project. jomen jippi is written by our guitarist, and jean pierre skogsbär is Miles jean pierre!

I´m 18 years old and have played for about 6 years.
Gear: Lakland skyline 44-02 and Hartke 3500 and 410XL. Into digi 001 (pro tools) No EQ on amp or in pro tools. Slight bass boost on the bartolini preamp. Feel free to give me encouragement, advices and critics.

I liked them both! "jean pierre skogsbär" made me think of Jeff Beck (specifically during his "Blow By Blow" era). Bass playing was steady and to the point.

I preferred "jomen jippi", for whatever reason.

Well done! Keep it up.

Very, very cool -- pretty reminiscent of Stanley Clarke (both playing and tone.) I really enjoyed this stuff! I love this kind of bass playing. Supportive, and you still funked out. Great job!

Thanks guys!! jomen jippi is my favourite to. the 6/8 feeling gives it a sort of smooth locomotive feeling to it. After we reocorded it I realised that I could play more in the style of Jamerson/Motown. Thanks for the support.
