No Rest For The Wicked - Drums in the verses need some more variation. The vocals are too Talking Heads, the guy from Cage the Elephant sings with more balls and doesn't enunciate as clearly; it's more slurred.

Steady As She Goes - Like your tone a lot more in this song. You are more present and are holding the song together more. Singer still needs balls. This song is easy, someone needs to be doing the backup vocals in the last chorus.

Last Night - His vocal are like a lounge-y Frank Black from the Pixies.

All in all, I think you guys will be fine. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply Adam,

We are working on back-up vocals, we know they are needed. I thought I could do it, so I recorded some for No rest for the wicked....well long story short, I suck

I was starting to think we were REALLY bad due to the silence in this thread. We do have better recordings with multiple tracks but we posted these because they are the closest representation of what we will sound like Sunday night.

thanks for the input once again,
Steve

The good:
The recordings are decent enough to understand what's happening.

The Bad:
You guys need to rehearse more to get everything locked and groove more.

The Ugly:
You guys really need to buy a tuner and learn how to tune. The Vocalist could use some singing lessons too.

ha ha ha, now that is more like what I expect from TB when a open invitation for criticism is given.
i agree with the good
i agreed with the bad
I do have a turner, and yes I use it...I will listen again to the recordings.
The guitarist and I are going to buy the singer some lessons, we talked about it last week.

thanks for the input, I agree with most everything you said
We have been playing together for three months, this is the singers and my first band experience, and I am loving every minute of it, the good, the bad, and yes even the ulgy
