Me and a friend have decided to take a trip to NYC this autumn and so I've been spending alot of time in the shed lately, trying to get everything in order

Spent the day working on some Parker songs and decided to record something and, well, this is what happened.

I'd appreciate hearing what you think

Very nice palying! I like your phrasing a lot. Apparently you don't only "Talkbass" like me! I wish you good success.

You're obviously a very skilled bass-player, I like the phrasing and the consistent flow in the solo. You definitely have the necessary talent to do this tune justice. Well done!

Noticed your vocals in the solo, My 1st teacher started me out doing that for my solos.
Phrasing is good but there were a few spots that I myself would let it breathed a bit more.

Yeah, I started "singing" when I was just starting out with improvising to facilitate playing what I hear in my head. I definitely think it's a valuable tool. Thanks for the input.
