Burnt Infant (my microtonal ambient alter-ego) has just released another early experiment with the Super Microtonal Death Metal Hello Kitty guitar: Constipated Turtles On Heroin
Even though this only consists of three tracks of guitar, this took me forever to write and record. This microtonal stuff is hard!

The new song is 4 minutes, 20 seconds - but not on purpose. However, feel free to get stoned and tell me what you think. |

I really like it! (though not stoned) Kind of reminds me of Porcupine Tree in their earlier days, who IMO, are one of the best bands in recent times. |

They synthy sounding guitar isn't much more complex: slo-gear, chorus, reverb, delay, octave-down pitch shifter. That's it. |

Currently I'm working on pre-production for an acoustic album(!) under the Benjamin Strange moniker. I've remixed a few of my older songs that I did on my laptop, now that I've got a much better system. If all goes well, I'll be releasing a Burnt Infant album and an acoustic Benjamin Strange album concurrently. How long that's going to take me is anybody's guess. |

The thing is, it's not only dark/scary, but it's gorgeous. That guitar solo over the microtonal background, I'm getting a little misty eyed.
You really are one of the most gifted musician/producers I've ever met.
I got a little gushy there ben, what I'm trying to say is, will you bear my children?
