Honestly, this is a really, really cool site. It tracks the progression and intermarriage of pretty much every conceivable genre and subgenre of metal, along with full-song audio examples of each one.

Naturally I went straight for my comfort genres (I hit up some Racer X in the Neo-Classical area first in case you're interested), but then I went exploring. Some of these bands (and even genres) were new to me. I am jamming on some "Blood Stain Child" (Trance Metal) right now having just got thru Djent.
