The Rascal Flatts version of Life is a Highway is a little too country, and too polished, but it's better because they don't sound like they are falling down drunk.

David Lee Roth's Tobacco Road

Exodus' version of Overdose sounds the way I think ACDC would have done it in 1986

Slayer made both Inna Gadda Da Vida and Dissident Aggressor their own, just as Judas Priest was always able to do when they did covers.

Rigor Mortis' version of Psychotherapy

The Accused has a version of Boris the Spider and Devil Woman that have to be heard.

And I hate to admit it, but Cobain's melody in the Nirvana version of Plateau is better, but he screwed it up by not being able to hit the notes.

I never thought the Tool cover of No Quarter was all that memorable.

Ozzy and Primus' version of N.I.B is pretty cool.

Another is Paramores acoustic cover of Use Somebody originally by Kings of Leon. Ive never been a fan of either band or the even original version of that song, but I thought that her voice and it just being acoustic made it sound much better and more melancholic. (Please listen to it before making fun of me)
