I'm gonna go ahead and get infront of the firing squad.

2 vids and a small audio clip. Audio clip is just a groove I came up with using a simple beat I conjured up and a default guitar loop (thinking about using it as a base for a track). Vids are from my last gig.

1) Audio clip
2) Part of Sublime's Santaria
3) A psudo cover of Cake's rendition of "I Will Survive" (ignore the guitar solo, I know it's horrible)

I borrowed the hat from the guitarist, considering where we were, and yes, I know I'm really tall (6'4"-6'5") and did almost put the head of my bass through the roof a few times.

Please tear them apart.

Oh, gear is a Fender "Cowpoke" 94 P-Bass Special through a Ampeg BA115HP combo. I'm using the X2 Digital wireless as well ("stomp box" version).

No blind fold and cigarettes from me .... sounds good.
I DID like Santeria better... just me.

Looks like many many clubs here in West Tn... low ceiling etc.

Keep it up

There is absolutely no stage presence going on.

Agree, I was more into it earlier in the set (both of those were late in the night). I was a bit preoccupied mentally so I couldn't really get into the songs. I tried, it just wasn't workin.

The little studio clip shows you can play in the pocket. Your technique shows you can get even sounding notes that speak well. Pretty good time feel.

The live stuff....who knows? can't hear much due to recording quality other than the singer is not great. Choice of material is questionable. Someone thought "I will survive" would be a good tune to cover? To each his own.

You are on the right track. Keep at it.

I think that's a super cool song! You play it well!

Yup! The recorded track was cool, but maybe it was just that you could hear everything better.

Santaria sounded like the elec guitar was hitting some wrong chords in a few spots?

Overall, great job though on the bass!

Hey man - you're doin your thang. And you're good at.

I honestly think you're FAR better than the band you're in. Oh, and lose the hat - you won't look so tall.
