I just heard this band, Cymande, for the first time, and they are pretty cool. Really funky, fat grooves, latin-ish, kind of like War and Mandrill and maybe early Meters a little. They've got a real earthy (?) feel.
Anyone like them? Can anyone tell me more about them? Does anyone remember them from when they were current? (It was a little before my time...)
