There's another YouTube clip of that same band doing Weather Report's "Birdland." Those kids have a future!

Ahh... beat me to it!
They're definitely going somewhere. My high school band had a sick guitarist who's now playing with Richard Bona. Good luck to these kids!

Man, these kids are really good! Maybe there's still hope for the future of musicianship in our 15 minutes of fame, hip-hop world.

LOL!! I LOVE THAT!! It's great to see kids like that. How old could they be; 15 or 16 maybe? HA! Better than some of the local bands I've seen!

LOL @ McLovins! But seriously, nicely done. I was in a Phish coverish jam band for a while - we didn't dare touch this one, LOL.

I know they're young but that was a pretty sloppy cover of Birdland.

Now, that is what the internet is all about. Exposing talent like that. Rocord companies probably wouldn't even give that a second listen on a demo. Good luck to them.

Their cover of "You Enjoy Myself" seems to be much more their thing, I thought it was pretty good!

Those kids are wasting their time. They should be working on their DJing and Guitar Hero skills.

Check these kids out:
http://www.myspace.com/jetstreamrocks

Saw them live at a big club out here, and they were really amazing. They have a bunch of heavy originals, but then they also whipped out really great versions of YYZ (nailed it) and Freebird. They actually outperformed the band they opened for by a huge margin.
