D'Angelo's Voodoo

Hi,
I like this album. If given just a simple drum track by your drummer and an ambiguious center, the chance to come up with some more experimental open grooves is there and pino plays some great examples here. Great to play along with for that reason too. Cheers.

Tony Levin has, in several forums, referred to the approach to time on this CD as "radical." And, if you can believe it, Bob Dylan mentioned Voodoo and its approach to groove in his autobiography, Chronicles.
