David Lee Roth - Stand Up

Not sure if this is the right forum..
Anyway, I have recently discovered Roth and this particular song is simply amazing. The bass line is just soooo tasty. Simple as hell but great. Something like Another One Bites The Dust. Anyone agree with me on that?

Though it doesn't sound like a bass guitar. Synth maybe. Or heavily processed slapping or something. I can see a bassist appearing occasionally on the video.. Weird
