death- human "drum and bass"

Does anyone here have, or know where, I can download the "drum and bass" version of the album human by death? It was never released as a proper release, but was a mix tape that went around at the time of the albums release after people complained that the bass was so low in the mix- in response (almost as a joke ) it was leaked , just being the drum and bass tracks...Anyone have any ideas?

Judging the lack of replies I guess not, I had hoped someone on this forum, of anywhere, might be able to help me.

Is it a rumor, or are you sure it exists?

Oh, it exists.

Steve Digiorgio has mentioned it on his forum. I actually asked why/how he got buried on Human and he responded, telling the story in a very lengthy, eloquent post. In said post, he mentioned the surfacing of these drum & bass tapes. No one seems to have them, though.

Its a shame really. I keep hearing little tid-bits confirming its existance, and I have seen said forum. But have never seen nor heard it myself.I was hoping if there was anyone who would have held on to it, It would be a bass player of this forum...

Pretty good read. I wouldn't mind listening to that tape, either. Especially since Steve said that he had some ambitious bass lines. I don't hear that at all. I thought it was some other guy mirroring the guitars.

You can hear Steve fine on Individual Thought Patterns. His bass work is pretty dope on that album too.

Thats true.I guess its just that its so easy to do an internet search for something like that. And then its there, Rather than waiting for a reply on a forum y'know?. But Its a very valid point

Steve seems fairly easy to contact, maybe someone should send him a message asking about it again, see if he has it archived somewhere.

Actually it's funny, I tried to find the full bootleg show of the Testament show in Holland when they played Dynamo 2000 (the video)...unfortunately, he didn't reply.

Would love to have that video if anyone has it, I know it was on TV.

My thoughts are,and this is based on assumption, that Steve is probably constantly getting PM'd by said kids who write before mentioned statements such as "what sorta fretless is best..." THAT is the reason I havn't . The tapes must be around somewhere tho.Surely...

I gotta be honest, those are the first clips I saw of Steve playing, and because of that:

I really disliked him for a while. Super busy playing, not really fitting the vibe of what was going on, made the whole band sound sloppy and like nothing was connected.

Then I heard Individual Thought Patterns, his playing was perfect on that, turned me into a fan. But that Dynamo fest, didn't dig it.
