Deodato (bass - Stanley Clarke, I think)

Any other Eumir Deodato fans here? I've been a fan of his stuff since the early 70s. The funkiest Fender Rhodes player in the known Universe.

"Superstrut"...

It's the electric piano that sends me. It's ****ing awesome. I love me some Fender Rhodes. I love also John Tropea's guitar solo on this track. Many, many metal shredders could learn a lot from listening to how it's done like this. John Tropea had bigger testes than any of 'em. LOL

The bass solos section is sweet too. Ron Carter and Stan Clarke both played on this one, IIRC.

Tropea's solo albums have also been some of my favorite Will Lee recordings.

Deodata fan here for sure. Besides all that early 70s Fender Rhodes coolness he also did some arranging for Frank Sinatra as well
