you will see, a great bass and learn what"rig" was use to record-it.
the "rooting" of the recording when this way:
bass into SPL gain station 1
one out to the motu 1224
and another to the M500 Phil Jones bass
and from the M500 to a second input on the Motu 1224
No eq was use,no mic was use. Only the limiter on the SPL AND JONES where on
the SPL as a tube gain and was use for a light touch of overdrive
A touch of reverb from Waves native plug-in was ad after recording
for ambiance the preset was Manchester apollo pt1
all the clips where done live, no punch in/out and mostly where the inspiration of the moment......
