This album is fantastic!
Still has the upbeat-sounding melodies prevalent on the Green Mind album but the solos and distortion hint and harken back to the older, earlier days. J's voice is still the same and the two songs Lou contributed are good. I can't get enough.

I swear I posted about Green Mind a few months ago and got some reponses.

But yeah man. The new record is more good stuff from J, Lou and Murph.

Dinosaur Jr. brings on the memories. What a great band! I hate getting older. Anyone ever listen to Overwhelming Colorfast in the early 90's? Limbo Maniacs? MCM and the Monster? The Dino Jr. has brought on the music nostalgia! I'm gonna go cry gently into a beer and remember misspent youth!

Awesome !
Yeah so I uh...hate you . They played here in Seattle literally the DAY I arrive home from college, and it's 21+. Damn it, J...would it have really hurt the turnout? I love this band so much. I just jammed along to their wonderful rendition of "Just Like Heaven."

Got to see The Fog with Mike Watt on bass a few years ago too.
I need to check that stuff out! Also, do you know which Dinosaur Jr or Fog albums Belinda Butcher and Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine played on?

MaskedJackal, you start the best album threads !
Well, I guess I'm better at talking about music than playing it!

Thanks, duder.
