Great to see a Nashville A Team guy here! Yep, between Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner and these guys it's been a good Bass Week. Feeling optimistic about the State of the Bass (and Art) in 2011. |

His double thumb video is sweet! |

its really a simple idea that we all do- get together great players, and arrange pop tunes that will appeal to the idiots that like the original, as well as everyone else because they're pumping musicality into it. these cats do it really well though.
i'd buy their record. they should put one out. |

Rockstars have worn eyeliner, black nail polish and crazy hair since the sixties. Henrik Linder looks like a rockstar AND he is a badass musician. |

Is it really all about the dollar bill (profitability) or it is about creating musicial art? The state of radio today is just sad with its sequenced music being forced upon its listeners and presented as "music". To them, when "real" music comes along, it is what? "too hard for listeners to comprehend", it is automatically shunned by radio stations' program managers (real music doesn't generate profits???!!!). As Aaron of Dirty Loops (drummer) once said, " "hey, we're on to so much knowledge and the music industry won´t let us use it in a creative way." And right there, the idea of Dirty Loops was created.
Amen. Play on brothers, play on. |

Amen. Play on brothers, play on. | I have a feeling they won't NEED a record company to acheive their goals! And I bet the record companies will come a knockin'! They'll want a piece of this! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
