Well it was nice of the singer to take time out of what I can only guess is a burgeoning porn career to record that.

You notice that the bass player and guitarist don't look up at all. With that view who can blame them.

When I saw the backup dancers the first time I literally sprayed the sip of beer I had just taken onto my monitor.

I'm secretly hoping that that bass player is on TB and finds this thread. Come on. I know there's some Finnish bass players on here!

I doubt that if he's in TB, he's going to show up, it would be the end of his reputation.

This kind of videos make me feel ashamed for being a Finn... Luckily, you don't really see something like that anymore on the Finnish national TV. That was 28 years ago.

OK bass playing though.

I agree. Seems he had a weird octave playing technique or was just new to it. I thought it was good playing but a bit over the top but hey, it was 28 years ago, right? Disco should be just a simple groove.

According to some posts on You Tube, the bass player is Pekka Pohjola. He is listed in Wikipedia as “Finnish multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. Best known as a bass player, Pohjola is also a classically trained pianist and violinist.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pekka_Pohjola

In the ‘70s he played with the Finnish progressive rock band Wigwam.
