and btw, that wasn't atonal at all... just listen to jauqo's bass lines and you can pick out the chords quite easily.
speaking of jauqo, I haven't seen him on here lately, although that could be because I almost always stay in Off Topic.

The music in that clip in primarily composed with a strong element of improvisation.
The musicians in that clip know their role within the context of the composition and rarely if ever get in each others way.

But I am of the opinion that it is how you play the rests. If I were at the performance, I'd stay to hear more though. |

but how can you comment on how busy the tune is or where rests should be when you do not know the composition,the concept or where the music is going?
