....who played bass on (Bee Gees) Yvonne Ellimen's "if i can't have you" ...???

was driving home the other night...song came on... of course, i'm listening to the bass line.... that's some pretty impressive, visceral stuff

okay.... from what i've found it looks like maybe Harold Cowart (played with bee gees) or Scott Edwards

just confirmed that it was Scott Edwards

played bass with Stevie Wonder, as well .... an under-rated session player that played bass on a huge string of disco and pop hits in the 70s and 80s ....a whole lot of songs most everyone is familiar with

...looking through his discography, no wonder those songs drew my attention all those years

damn.... great bass player
