AMG mentions Chuck Rainey, Wilton Felder, & Joe Hall.

I listened to the track & killer it is...
IMO, it's Rainey...it has that busy groove with Rainey's trademark doublestops.
IMO, Felder was more meat & potatoes bass (listen to something like The Crusaders' Chain Reaction)
Joe Hall was a young cat/memeber of the Blackbyrds; IIRC, his tone was more 'modern' than what I heard on that track (IIRC, he was using an Alembic?; check out "Supernatural Feeling" from the Blackbyrd's Action album).

Good ears Jim! Felder only plays on 'Flight Time' & 'Mr Thomas' the rest of the album is Rainey.

So Joe Hall is not on the album at all?
BTW, AMG had him listed as Joe Hill...sad.
