Donny Hathaway - These Songs For You, Live!

This is a compilation that came out in 2004. It has 6 previously unissued tracks, and a interview as well as some tracks from the "Live" and "In Performance" albums. Willie Weeks is on bass on all tracks and the unreleased tracks he is on too. All the tracks are live which is cool.

On the unreleased tracks, most are slower jams but on "valdez in the country" he moves some and gets in some cool licks. Donny does a cool cover of "superwoman", "he ain't heavy, he's my brother", and "yesterday". great songs. the interview is pretty cool too. the other two unreleased (besides the 4 listed above) are "flying easy", and "someday we'll all be free".

check it out if you're a donny fan or a willie weeks fan. i recommend it.
